Hi Andy.
Thanks for the comments. You are n...@Andy

Hi Andy.
Thanks for the comments. You are not the first person to suggest Bristol as a location for a beer trip. It's the sign of a thriving and very healthy beer scene at the moment that nearly every city has a good handful of pubs that can be relied upon to deliver a wide range of quality beers. long may that continue. I've enjoyed your book immensely. Still dipping into it and it is quickly becoming my indispensable home brew companion. A great book and the accolades you have received, here and elsewhere, for it are very much warranted. I look forward to any future offerings.thebeermonkeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08304019571011294245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2612086764200474573.post-70190814063127708492014-01-06T20:30:55.406+00:002014-01-06T20:30:55.406+00:00I'd suggest a trip down to Bristol before the ...I'd suggest a trip down to Bristol before the end of 2014 for beer city. It's certianly changed in the last year and we now have some excellent bars. Helped me write your 2nd favourite books (cheers for the mention by the way). I've no doubt that Derby is not only a city but also a good city for beer. Thanks for the suggestion. Alas, I haven't been to Derby to find out for myself but that could be a city to visit in 2014. It's not far from Nottingham, so if Derby doesn't cut the mustard, I'm sure I'll find some nice beer there. ;-)

thebeermonkeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08304019571011294245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2612086764200474573.post-83339889320312375412014-01-06T15:09:52.643+00:002014-01-06T15:09:52.643+00:00Fascinating review of a great year for beer! And yes, The State Bar - has gone from strength to strength this year. But why no Derby in the 'best city' list?! It is a city you know!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
